Section 12

A qualified member shall hold office for a term of three years. If a qualified member vacates his or her office prior to the expiration of the term, the Minister shall appoint a replacement qualified member of the same field within thirty days from the date of vacancy. The person appointed to replace the vacated position shall be in office for the remaining term of office of the member whom he or she replaces, unless the remaining term of the qualified member is less than ninety days, in which case, the Minister may not appoint a replacement qualified member, and in this regard, the Committee shall consist of the remaining members.
